With over 50 years of experience in the Mini Cab industry Charlton Cars is one of South East London's leading Private Hire Operators.  We currently have a fleet of over 100 vehicles and operate using a fully computerised dispatch system.  Our specialties include local and long haul journeys, airport transfers, station transfers, school runs, weddings, executive events and deliveries.  Charlton Cars currently dispatches over 20,000 jobs per month, employs a team of 20 internal staff and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. 

Our state of the art GPS based dispatch system allows us to pick up from just about anywhere in the country.  A key feature within our system is its ability to allocate the closest vehicle to the customer’s pick-up location.  The system automatically chooses the optimum route to the pick-up point and drop off destinations using GPS; this reduces the amount of dead mileage, fuel costs, CO2 emissions and wear and tear on our fleet.  Using this technology 20% fewer miles are driven and we can track CO2 emissions and provide account customers with detailed CO2 emissions statements, encouraging them to be more carbon aware.

To further help our planet Charlton Cars is compensating for some of its greenhouse gas emissions by helping the Woodland Trust through its Woodland Carbon Scheme to create 500m2 of new native woodland in the UK. This is part of a strategic programme to reduce emissions where possible.
